About Hybrid Fitness Training (HFT)

HFT combines multiple approaches to training, so you get a bit of everything - strength, functional fitness, cardio, and endurance. Multiple equipment is used to help create a well-rounded workout.

All workout are designed as intentional, accessible, and FUN, to help you reach your fitness goals. Our coaches are nationally accredited and trained to provide options to meet individual needs. If you need something new or some extra motivation, this is the program for you!

Here’s what you get:

  • Admission to the DEKA event hosted at UConn Recreation on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
  • 10 weeks of structured workouts starting 1/29 that focuses on progression, skill development, and enhanced fitness at every level.
  • Use of exclusive functional fitness equipment including Ski Erg, Rom, Assault Bike/Tread, Kettlebells, Sandbags, plyo boxes, & more!
  • Pre and post program fitness assessments

What to Expect:

Small Group Training Environment - max of 12 people per class
Comprehensive Workout Program - The program is designed to help you test your functional fitness in our first ever DEKA event, so each week expects to learn more about the event and each functional fitness zone in the DEKA event. The segments of each session will include pre-workout warm-up, strength/metabolic conditioning, post-workout recovery/stretch.
Coaching and Instruction - Our awesome coaches are here to provide individualized options for every participant and to make sure each workout fits your individual needs.
Community - We are here to help motivate, support, and encourage you no matter where you are in your fitness journey. You belong here!
