It's "Spring" training season for UConn Recreation's Road Dogs as we prepare for the Middletown 6.2-Mile Road Race on April 2, 2023.

Road Dogs is a community of runners that will get you ready to meet your race day goals. Whether you are new to running and looking to tackle your first long distance race or you are a seasoned runner, our group will offer something to benefit all levels and abilities. Fun, camaraderie, and motivation will always be our focus.

Sign up and run with the Road Dogs Training Team before March 3, 2023!

Students, Staff, Faculty, Alumni, & Community are all welcome to participate!

Once registered you will be granted access to our online Road Dogs group on Meetup.com, a social media platform. On the site, we provide a guided training schedule, running and training info. It also creates a fun and social way to connect with your team of fellow Road Dogs. Most importantly, this is where we will organize our group runs and sponsored social events.

In typical Road Dogs style we will have goodies and incentives for everyone participating and completing their miles over the course of training.

Admission to the Middletown 6.2-Miler or 3.1-Miler (walker-friendly) on April 2nd, including a free meal and other giveaways.
Starting February 11th--Seven long-run Saturdays hosted on campus at the UConn Student Recreation Center - SRC. Every Saturday meeting will include snacks, drinks, monitored area for personal belongings, and great campus running routes.
