Student Advisory Board
UConn Recreation is seeking students invested in enhancing and enriching the services and programs offered through UConn Recreation to join the UConn Recreation Advisory Board
Purpose: The UConn Recreation Advisory Board serves in an advisory capacity for UConn Recreation’s Leadership Team to support and advance the mission and values of UConn Recreation. The Board is empowered to provide input and feedback across a broad range of topics and will help guide UConn Recreation to enhance services and programs that meet the needs and interest of the UConn community.
Membership: The Advisory Board is a 10-member student committee. All students enrolled at the UConn Storrs campus are eligible to submit an application of interest to serve on the Board. Eligible candidates may apply here. Service on the UConn Recreation Advisory Board will be for the Spring 2022 semester and all members may elect to continue service through the 2022-23 academic year.
Meetings: All meetings will be held in the Student Recreation Center, Husky Suite. The committee will meet in February, March, and April of 2022. Members will be invited to serve through the spring 2022 academic year or may elect to continue service through 2023.
